About Stijgend
Stijgend Real Estate, LLC is a real estate brokerage firm specializing in real estate properties having unique attributes. Abraham Willis (Will) Schippers formed Stijgend Real Estate, LLC in 2013. Will became a licensed real estate broker in Colorado in 2010 at the request of investors interested in buying real estate. Although Stijgend assists with all classes of real estate, Stijgend specializes in distressed real estate, including lender owned properties, and properties on and around airports. Stijgend provides a personal one-on-one relationship with clients and, therefore, has enjoyed multiple engagements with most of its clients.
Mr. Schippers is also currently the President of WLS, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in capital acquisition strategies for small and mid-sized companies with a focus on business plan review/creation, preparation of financial models and company valuation. In the mid-2000’s Will served as Sr. Vice President and CFO of Aviation Technology Group, a start-up company developing a two passenger, high-performance, fighter-like jet aircraft for use in the civilian and military markets.
Mr. Schippers had a long career in banking and holds BBA and MBA degrees in finance from the University of Iowa. After college, he joined the Iowa Des Moines National Bank, now a part of the Wells Fargo banking group. Later he held executive positions in two Iowa community banks. After moving to Colorado, he served as President, CEO and Board of Directors member of two eastern Colorado banks. Following his banking career, he was a financial consultant with Smith Barney (now Morgan Stanley Smith Barney) in Denver, providing financial services to high net worth individuals and corporations.
